MOPS...because mothering matters.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to encourage mothers with children under school age, through relationships and resources.

MOPS International has nearly 3,900 MOPS groups that meet throughout the United States, Canada and 35 other countries, meeting the needs of more than 100,000 women. Our group of women comes from different backgrounds and lifestyles, yet we have similar needs and shared desires to be the best mothers we can be!

Our MOPS group provides a caring, accepting atmosphere for today's mother of preschoolers. Here you have an opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity, and hear instruction that equips you for the responsibilities of family and community. Our MOPS program includes a MOPPETS program, a loving learning experience for your children to attend while you are in the MOPS program.

Please come join us and bring a friend!

About the Leadership Team

Serving on the Leadership Team comes about through dedication to God and a desire to serve other women. As a team we also have the opportunity to share each other’s lives more closely as we spend fun times planning our gatherings and studying God’s word and his purposes for our lives. As our group continues to grow larger and as our children grow older (and therefore, we move on as leaders), the leadership team is always seeking individuals who desire to serve God by serving on a MOPS leadership team. , or one of the Leadership Team members so we can set aside some time to speak with you.

Hospitality Team

Do you have a heart for cooking, baking, or are you willing to simply come early or stay late one meeting a month? Many hands makes light work and it’s a great time to be able to work and chat with another mom. If you’re interested in helping out in any of these ways, please contact Gretchen Johnson, Hospitality Team Leader.

Creative Activities Team

Do you have a hidden talent that no one knows about that you would be willing to share? Would you be willing to set up or clean up after the craft? Would you be able to help pick up supplies (money is provided)? If so, please contact Gail Bromage, Creative Activities Leader.

Publicity Team

Would you hang a poster or post a brochure at your local pediatrician’s office? Or would you be willing to write an article for our newsletter? If so, please contact Gwen Schrader, Publicity Leader.

Financial Team

Do you have a knack for counting all your dimes, nickels and pennies and always knowing what your bank balance is? Do you like to provide input regarding budgets and financial decisions? If so, please contact Karen Andes, Financial Team Leader.

Mentor Team

Are you a mom whose kids are already past the preschool stage, but you long to share your experiences with other moms? Do you like to speak to other moms about topics moms are interested in? Would you like to opportunity to mentor other young moms 1-on-1? If so, please contact Donna Porritt, Mentor.

Discussion Group Leaders Team

Would you be willing to lead a small group of women in discussions and take the time to get to know them better? Do you like to plan social gatherings outside of MOPS? If so, please contact Mary Johnson, Discussion Group Leader

About MOPPETS

MOPPETS is a parallel program your children attend while you are at MOPS. While you are enjoying sitting and chatting with adults your age, your kids will be learning and playing with kids their age. MOPPETS is a safe environment for your kids and each classroom will have age appropriate activities for the kids to participate in. MOPPETS is run by volunteers who are committed to taking care of your children, so you can relax and enjoy your time. Please refer to our Policies and Forms section for"MOPPETS Rules"for our classrooms.

About MOPPETS Team

In order for MOPS to work, we have a wonderful core of MOPPETS volunteers who are willing to serve all of us by watching our children. If you know of any Godly men or women who would like to assist in our classrooms on a once or twice a month basis, please let us know. In order for our group to continue to grow, we need more volunteers to work with the children. If you are interested in serving in this vital aspect of MOPS or know someone who would be, please contact Sharon Howarth, MOPPETS Coordinator.
