You are invited to a place designed specifically for you, a mother of a preschooler. Here you’ll experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope, all to help you be the best mom possible. Where is this place? It here, at MOPS, and we have been expecting you.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to encourage mothers with children under school age (birth-Kindergarten), through relationships and resources.
MOPS International has nearly 3,900 MOPS groups that meet throughout the United States, Canada and 35 other countries, meeting the needs of more than 100,000 women.
Our group of women come from different backgrounds and lifestyles, yet we have similar needs and shared desires ~ to be the best mothers we can be!
Our MOPS group provides a caring, accepting atmosphere for today's mother of preschoolers. Here you have an opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity, and hear instruction that equips you for the responsibilities of family and community. Our MOPS program includes a MOPPETS program, a loving learning experience for your children to attend while you are in the MOPS program.
A typical meeting consists of a welcome and announcements time, a breakfast buffet, a speaker on a topic relevant to moms like you and me and/or a discussion time (led by table leaders)/craft (provided by our talented creative activities leader).

Welcome to Cheshire MOPS!
We are excited to be beginning our eighth year partnering with MOPS International to reach as many moms in the Cheshire area, and connect them with our group. If you are a mom, and have a child between newborn and five years old, please come visit us.
We meet two times a month from September to May, on the 1st and 3rd Fridays, from 9:15am. to 11:00am., at Christ Community Church in Cheshire (120 Main Street- next to the Public Library)
During the summer, we would love for you to join us for a playdate! (Check "upcoming events" for date/time/location)

About MOPPETS
MOPPETS is a parallel program your children attend while you are at MOPS. While you are enjoying sitting and chatting with adults your age, your kids will be learning and playing with kids their age. MOPPETS is a safe environment for your kids and each classroom will have age appropriate activities for the kids to participate in. MOPPETS is run by volunteers who are committed to taking care of your children, so you can relax and enjoy your time. Please refer to our Policies and Forms section for "MOPPETS Rules" for our classrooms.
